Went to a viewpoint and had a picnic lunch.
Went to another place about an hour later to see the yellow-eyed penguins, but we got there too late and it was closed. Just took some photos from near the entrance to the nesting grounds.
January 12, 2015 - Traveled down the scenic highway south to the town of Invercargill, NZ. The southernmost town in NZ and only about 3,000 miles from the South Pole. Went for a ride to the end of the road or the start of the road if you start from the south going north. We have traveled all the way from the northernmost point of the north island to the southernmost point of the south island.

January 13, 2015 - Traveled northwest along the scenic road to our next stay at a town called Te Anau, NZ.
January 15, 2015 - In Te Anau and on the trip to Milford Sound to take a cruise through the fiords.
